A regional fuel shortage meant that no petrol was available anywhere along the route, and Ball arrived at his destination — My Mesvara Na Mesvara Homestay, the home of popular YouTuber "Kob" — with the tank nearly bone dry. Fortunately, Kob stepped in and sourced fuel from local villagers nearby, saving the trip from an early end. It was a close call, but a reminder of the warmth and community spirit found in Thailand's more remote corners.
